New Branch Badge
This Branch News was originally posted in MCFCSC Hazel Grove.
Over the years the branch had adopted the City crest as the logo and just in the last few seasons we have used the generic supporter club logo. As a branch we decided earlier this year to come up with a new design that reflects us and who we are. As you know we have looked at going down the route of a traditional City badge or going for something different which captures our area of Hazel Grove. Well, it was decided the latter was the way to go, so here is our new logo, for those who don’t know well the centre crest is our Hazel Grove crest.
The lion in the top quadrant stands for the Arms of the Bromales (A.D. 1160). The 5 nuts stand for the five parishes of Bramhall, Bosden, Norbury, Offerton and Torkington (shown here as Hazels) and the Sheaf of Corn, is for Cheshire.
We have used part of this and have M.C.F.C across to show our team and then who we are and who we belong to around the outside. We feel this is everything that gives us as a branch and as individuals our identity. Also, see below……
We also plan to use where possible, in-conjunction with the main logo the City coat of arms, which can be used for shirt sleeves etc.
We hope you like these as much as we do….
