MCFCSC, BT & GMP help fight Ebola in Sierra Leone
Manchester City Supporters Club, British Telecom and Greater Manchester Police teamed together last year to send a care package to Sierra Leone, a country which has been badly affected by the Ebola virus, in hopes of helping as many locals as possible combat the deadly disease.
We have since heard news that the package, which contained a variety of items including hand sanitizer and flu kits, arrived in Sierra Leone last month, and has already helped lots of locals protect themselves from the virus.
One local in particular, Armani, went to the trouble of sending us a thank you message and pictures of the people to whom the delivery has helped.
Here’s what he had to say:
“I very delighted to in form you all that I have received the 20ft container of hand gel and flu kits to fight against Ebola in Sierra Leone donated by Manchester City fans World wide, British Telecommunication and Greater Manchester City Police to fight against Ebola in Sierra Leone.
