Etihad Stadium Expansion: Test Event and Open Training
The first home game of the 2015/16 Premier League season is now less than a month away, and the club need your support with the final element of the stadium expansion works.
As part of these works they are required to undertake a test event at the stadium, this is so that a certificate can be issued for the new stand before the first game against Chelsea on Sunday 16th August.
It is important that the maximum number of supporters attend so that the certificate can be issued.
On Wednesday 12th August the Etihad Stadium will be host to an open training session, with the Men and Women’s First Teams, that the whole family can enjoy. You can arrive from 5:45pm for pre-training fun, entertainment and competitions prior to the first training session starting at 6:45pm.
Tickets are priced at £3 for Adults and £1 for Under 16s and Over 65s and all proceeds will go to City in the Community. In addition, 100 City Points will be awarded following your attendance on the evening.
You may be asking: “Why charge if you need as many supporters to attend as possible?“, the answer: past experience has shown that when these types of events are free many supporters request tickets but don’t actually attend, therefore by charging a small fee they can ensure that more people will attend (which is very important in this case).
Tickets will be made available to all Seasoncard holders from 9am on Monday 27th July.
Click here to buy online, call +44 (0)161 444 1894 (option 1, option 3) or visit the Ticket Office, located on the first floor of the Etihad Stadium City Store. The Ticket Office and Supporter Services are open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5.30pm (closed Sundays and Bank Holidays).
Places are limited for this exclusive event, so do not delay in securing your ticket!
Thank you for your continued support.
