Patrick Roberts, 18, is City’s 3rd English signing this Summer after Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling and Aston Villa’s Fabian Delph.
He has already represented England at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 levels and made 17 appearances in the Championship last season for Fulham
Seen by many as the “English Messi” because of his great dribbling ability, Roberts made his Fulham debut at the Etihad Stadium in 2014 and amassed 22 first-team appearances in total.
It has also been confirmed that he will be joining the rest of the team in their tour of Australia within the next couple of days.
