3 City players make top 12 least dirtiest Premier League defenders
Stats by Oulala Games has revealed that Manchester City and Bournemouth defenders are the least dirtiest in the Premier League
Ever wondered which defenders commit the least amount of fouls to get their job done? Well Oulala Games have got the answers!
The daily Fantasy Football game has focused on defenders to have made at least 10 appearances in the Premier League this season to reveal the top 12, their ‘no-so dirty dozen’, to have made the least fouls ‘per minute’ this season.
It appears Pep Guardiola’s calm demeanour has rubbed off on his players with three City defenders making the top six, including the top two!
The stats reveal that Bacary Sagna has made just one foul in 932 minutes of Premier League football.
The Frenchman is joined by John Stones who sits second on the list. The 22-year-old has committed just three fouls in 1,291 minutes, an average of one every 430 minutes.
The third City defender to make the table is Gaël Clichy, who has made four fouls in 1,084 minutes of action, equating to a foul every 271 minutes, enough for sixth spot.
Should we be applauding these players or does it show that they’re not being as tough as they should be in stopping their opponents? Let us know your thoughts on Twitter @mcfcsupportersc and Facebook /MCFCsupportersclub!
