Football-loving seven year-old, Braydon finally meets and salutes his hero Sergio Aguero after capturing the hearts of millions worldwide with a cute home video of him scoring a winning Aguero goal.
Braydon Bent won over MCFC’s website design and hosting partner Wix.com after the video of him celebrating an imaginary City goal went viral, attracting global internet audiences with his soccer antics.
Braydon’s video was viewed more than 486,000 times on WixFC’s Facebook page alone with soccer sites across the world sharing his video with their viewers, including 320,000 views on The Sport Bible. When shared by Aguero on his official Facebook page, 6,000 fans gave it an instant thumbs-up.
Thanks to Wix.com, Braydon finally got the chance to meet his hero ahead of the Champions League game on Tuesday 26th April, where he continued to charm both Aguero and other MCFC players including Willy Caballero, Kevin de Bruyne and Fernandinho with his goal scoring chatter.
Braydon also lead the Club chants at Manchester City Football Club’s City Square ahead of the home Champions League game against Real Madrid.
Braydon won a global Wix.com competition to meet Manchester City superstar Sergio Aguero after his mum submitted a video showcasing her son’s undeniable goal scoring and commentating talents.
The competition, run by Manchester City FC’s official website design and hosting partner Wix.com was part of the launch of their new Sergio Aguero website and set out to find the Argentinian football star’s biggest fan. When the results rolled in, Braydon was the clear crowd favourite.
A true fan through and through, Braydon lives in his Aguero kit and pretends to be a City player from the moment he wakes up in his bedroom, which is adorned from ceiling to floor with MCFC bedding, wallpaper and signed posters. Braydon currently plays football for Lymm Rovers under 7s and dreams to play for Manchester City when he’s older.
