Report: Sunderland 0-1 Manchester City 02/02/16
Manchester City managed to grind out 3 vital points after an intense 90 minutes at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday evening
Sergio Aguero scored the only goal of the game early on with a fine finish that came from the outside of his right boot, he gave everyone a scare when he went down straight after with a look of discomfort on his face – but thankfully all seems to be ok.
For the remainder of the half it was mainly Sam Allerdyce’s side that were doing the attacking, coming close on several occassions and forcing Joe Hart to pull off some world class saves.

Sunderland hit the ground running once again in the second half and showed lots of desire to get the scores level, but in the end they just couldn’t find a way through the Blues’ stubborn defence.
There was another unfortunate casualty late on for City when Jesus Navas went down holding his hamstring, the Spaniard was then taken off for Sterling as a precautionary but it is unknown at this stage if and how long he’ll be out for.
After that win City still remain 3 points behind Leicester after their 2-0 win against Liverpool, which will surely make Saturday’s game at the Etihad one of the biggest games of the season for both teams.
