Guardiola to succeed Pellegrini at the end of the Season
Pep Guardiola has been appointed the new City manager for next season on a three-year deal
The club released a statement on social media earlier today (crashing their website in the process!) which said that Manuel Pellegrini was “fully supportive” of the decision.

City also revealed in the statement that negotiations with Guardiola had been “a re-commencement of discussions that were curtailed in 2012”.
- Guardiola is currently into his third season at Bayern Munich, where he has won 2 Bundesliga titles
- Before then he was head coach at Barcelona, where he won 3 La Liga titles, 2 UEFA Champions League trophies and 2 FIFA Club World Cups
- This will be his first time managing in England
